Located in Toms River, NJ, Dr. Donna has been serving Ocean County and greater New Jersey for 35 years. She practices an evolutionary, forward-looking approach called Network Spinal Analysis. Network looks at the relationship between the spine and the nervous system, how the patterns of tension and stress in our body are intelligently organized, and how using gentle, precise contacts along the spine we can help the body to unwind and reorganize this stored energy.
Ultimately, the experience of your life depends on the ability of your nervous system to communicate with your body. Her service is based on helping that communication be more efficient, more effective, and more responsive. In addition to the changes that you feel as you progress through care, Dr. Donna employs technology that will objectively measure the fitness of your nervous system’s ability to adapt to stress. Using Heart-Rate Variability, surface EMG, and spinal thermography, she can track clinical and experiential changes with certainty and accuracy.
Network Care is the combined practice of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) and Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). Through NSA, people develop two healing waves associated with profound improvements in health and wellness. As these waves develop, specific breath, movement, and energy rhythms naturally emerge. These SRI rhythms are connected with different internal states of consciousness and support the advancement of the next strategy in NSA. When combined, NSA and SRI together promote improvements in all aspects of our well-being.

What is Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)?
Network Spinal Analysis™ was first developed in the early 1980’s by Dr. Donald Epstein. NSA is utilized by thousands of practitioners around the world and has been studied in several major universities, both in the United States and internationally. It has been studied due to its dramatic, impressive health and wellness contributions to our well-being.
NSA is a revolutionary approach to wellness that applies low-force touches at Spinal Gateways or at certain contact points on the body. These gentle contacts help to assist the brain to connect more effectively with the spine and body, enabling individuals to develop new wellness-promoting strategies for living and healing.
The intent of NSA is to enable the body’s own self-generated mechanisms of movement and respiration to assist in the correction of mechanical tension and interference in the nervous system. Greater self-awareness and conscious awakening of the relationships among an individual’s emotional, physical, and mental state are realized through this popular healing work.
NSA care is advanced through a series of levels, each producing specific abilities for the spine to adapt to the environment. During care, two spinal ‘healing’ waves develop which help improve spinal and neural integrity, adaptability, and significantly advance wellness as well as quality of life.
What is Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI)?
Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) teaches you how to access your inner resources of ease and connection and bring them to areas of tension, symptoms or disconnection. Simple exercises include touch, breath, movement and focused attention. Through each level of Network Care, the SRI rhythms will assist you on the journey of discovering your body’s resources, transforming old blocks and patterns, and embodying your most awakened self.
The goal of SRI™ is to help individuals develop lifetime skills, safety, strength, wisdom and love in relationship to the experience of his/her body, its vibration, structure and energy. Through reconnecting a person’s breath, touch, focused movement and attention, they are able to experience their body more fully and instantly shift their state of consciousness to one that supports trust for the mind-body.
The conceptual model for SRI is detailed in Dr. Donald M. Epstein’s book, The Twelve Stages of Healing: A Network Approach to Wholeness. This book describes the states of consciousness and life experiences associated with each of the SRI exercises.
